Had a great experience buying our first travel trailer from Ty at Camping World! Took the kiddo out all summer—road tripped to Alabama, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, upstate New York and Vermont this year! Have had our camper for six months with no issues (in fact, their team even agreed to letting us store our camper with them over the winter… great customer service!)

I purchased a 2023 Air Stream 2 weeks ago and was sold “good Sam” insurance at $7,000.

My air stream has not had hot water since I purchased it and my awning (shade structure) arm snapped randomly in 1/2 after only 2 days of use. It was already fractured.

I reported it to “good Sam” and they were zero help. I called Molly to refund my money for this useless insurance company. She called me back once and saying she’d send over the cancellation paperwork. That was last week. I call once a day to try to reach her for canceling and my refund and no call back.

Still no hot water, a usless & dangerous awning, and completely ripped off with this several thousand dollar insurance they sold me.

Leslie Berk in service emailed me saying “I noticed that you do have an Extend Service Plan, mechanical errors are covered under your plan”. So why hasn’t anyone done anything?

Rebecca Cider in service was the most useless saying “Here is a mobile RV contact for your area. Unfortunately, we do not have mobile services at this location.” even though my Air Stream is still within the window of repair. I would come out of pocket for this.

Lastly, my Air stream came with no keys!!! I had to leave it unlocked for two weeks and I live in it!!! After several email it was finally fixed by the one good person at that company, my sales person Tyron.

$111.000 cash plus “bad Sam” insurance (which I want to cancel asap), I spend at this Camping World. The customer service is atrocious (minus Tyrone).

Buyers BEWARE. Do not buy from here or bring your camper here to be serviced. We have experienced nothing but a true nightmare. They keep your camper for weeks at a time claiming to fix issues covered under the insurance that you pay for only to give it back in worse condition! They steal small parts from your unit that they think will go unnoticed to give to others and have no respect for your property. Mechanics have stepped on and dragged our newly purchased mattress, left urine all over our toilets and left us with a dead battery that needed to be replaced as it sat in their shop for a whole month. They improperly installed a washing machine which caused our unit to flood. The list goes on and on and I really don’t want another family to go through this. The manager will be friendly and present during the day of sale but once all the issues start to arise he is nowhere to be found.

Camping World of Albany did an amazing job to make the whole process of buying an RV as smooth as possible. They are welcoming and friendly, as well as extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Our sales rep Zach, as well as Nicole in retail, Nicole in finance, and Frank and his co worker in service/installation (whose name I can’t remember, I’m sorry!) were a pleasure to work with. Our day there was a very long one but not only was their entire facility clean, all the staff was so nice and accommodating, they offered snacks, water, and a nice waiting area. Also tons of camping gear in stock. We aren’t local but this place was absolutely worth the drive. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Nothing but problems with our camper which we purchased in 2020. From the first time we used it. We have had problems with leakage, water heater, problem with the slide outs not working-motor, refrigerator stopped working, faulty awning-doesn't work, Tanks leaking. Like other reviewers every time something is fixed, something else is wrong. We were able to use our camper one time this year as it has been and continues to be in for service since April. We picked it up at the beginning of June and were able to take it for one week, then drop back off again-this time "we will get you right in today" (yeah right) and no update from them until we ask, then they give us a date the part will be in ( which was weeks away), then as it got closer to the date they changed the date for another few weeks. Now we are losing our deposit for our camping vacation at the end of the month due to late cancellation. Never what I thought owning a camper was going to be like. We have only used the camper approximately 8 times since owning it. Crazy. Bottom line-something is ALWAYS wrong/broken. So frustrating.

Purchased a $60,000 used Solitude 5th wheel from these guys against my better judgement, very high pressure sales and alot of lies. Picked it up, had it winterized, drove is 3 hour to storage for a few weeks. This unit was suppose to be "gone thru" and inspected and everything was said to work. The tech doing my walk thru was very nice, but didn't really know how things worked (because they actually didnt) . I left and the hydraulic brakes were not working, I immediately blamed my truck so I kept going, it wasn't the truck, the hydraulic pump was shot.... set it up and the "brand new" batteries they installed supposedly after the sale was made are both bad, the water heater is shot, the slide roofs leak, for some reason my Grey water tank is full of sawdust (sketchy) and my auto level jack system registers the jacks as being fully up at all times, and 2 out of the 6 bleed out after it sits for a few hours, my main awning is ripped and rain water fills up the inside of my garage door and floor of the garage.

All I get out of them when I call is "Sir you didn't buy a warranty, and the unit was gone thru"

Yes, I paid extra on my loan to have the unit "gone thru" and they didn't, and now it's somehow my fault that they are crooks....

And the GoodSam roadside assistance, they told me they'd pay, until they figured out how much a call was for the brakes, then after 2 people telling me they'd pay the call and first 2 hours they changed there tone to "oh we just call someone so you don't have to find them"

How is either company still in business Yall are gonna get someone seriously hurt or killed with these lies, that brake thing could have been very bad.

And to top it all off they didn't install my fifth wheel hitch properly, and even the damn water hose i bought has a bad fitting... not the o-ring, the fitting sprays. Unreal
