Brilliant bike build service from the Waterloo team. I emailed them with my parts to confirm and was told to bring them all in and the mechanics will see it done. I was updated along the way via call and email. Bike was built for next day! Everyone made sure i was happy and ready to ride out.

I can see you even went the extra mile, aligning the tyre art with the wheel ones! Cables look good, the whole bike looks amazing, everything i hoped for! Thank you very much Mike, Damian and Long, I spoke to more of you but didnt get your names, eitherway, thank you everyone! Rim brakes live on.

Fantastic service. Alex and Long were really helpful, and gave me some advice as I am a novice. I really appreciated that, and they were so cheerful. They also very kindly put my oiless chain back on for free when I couldn't do it and was already late.

Super staff who went out of the way to help even though the shop had already closed.

I got a puncture coming through Waterloo on the commute home. Having already picked up one earlier in the day I had no spare inner tube left and was stuck. They kindly reopened the shop and made sure I had what I needed to make the repair and get back on my way. Will now be my go to cycle shop from now on. Thank you.

Having bought my bike from another Balfe’s branch, I popped in this evening on my way home from work as my disc break was blocked up, thinking I was going to have to leave my bike there for a service and spend £120. Alex in the workshop sorted the problem for me on the spot, replaced a couple of missing screws for my pannier rack and oiled my chain free of charge. 10/10 customer service and couldn’t sign Alex’s praises enough - really nice guy and extremely helpful, giving me some tips and advice along the way.
