Today we got our new 5th wheel! From the beginning Donnie and Jim B helped us so much we were coming from Tennessee and they made this one of the best experiences!
Now to talk about the fact that we had a few unknown issues with our trade in. Jeff who was doing our demo stopped everything to help us solve the first issue we had no questions asked, just wanted to do the right thing for us! The next amazing person was Tommy, he helped with our trade in but also when we started getting overwhelmed with moving our stuff over he stepped in and just started helping and then getting people to help and boxes! I could honestly say between Tommy and Jeff I have never felt so blessed and taken care of! We have been to so many RV dealers and this one was so caring thank you all so much for all the help moving and all the help solving our trade in issues!

FOUR MONTH UPDATE:
I come here to update my review with a heavy heart. I have taken my RV out 4x and I’ve had one issue after another with it. I’ve discovered something that’s broken or several water leaks. I brought the RV in (after only having it for less than 3 weeks) and they kept it for a week, and essentially didn’t do anything due to waiting on authorization from FR then waiting on parts. After 8 weeks (and me being in constant with the FR representative who told me she approved the fixes early on and the AH service guy wasn’t doing his job by reviewing them), they installed the WRONG window (my normal kitchen window turned into an emergency window and it didn’t even fit in the space!) the person who was responsible for these fixes essentially called me a liar (for the second time, for 2 diff issues) when I told him I didn’t have an emergency window there, and had to go look at the removed window. He also conveniently forgot about all the other issues I brought it in for. I don’t want to go into details about all the other issues I’ve had with this RV (I will be looking to trade it in because quality of this 200k RV is trash) but I will say the service department has been a nightmare. I’m now working with the service manager who has been more communicative and helpful. However, if this is the quality of product and service you can expect from AH, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone anymore.

AT THE BEGINNING:
When I began my RV search, I had a general idea of what I wanted and went to several RV dealerships. The moment I walked in, Don (salesman), greeted me and my cousin and really listened to what I wanted. He then walked us around and pointed out my requests and helped me test drive one of the RVs. Don was incredibly encouraging and was a calm presence as I’ve never driven an RV. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase anything. In fact, Don recommended that I shop around and if I have any questions, that I could contact him. Don did do this and, again, I never felt pressured to purchase through him. I felt that he genuinely cared that I found the perfect RV, even if it wasn’t through him. I didn’t find an RV that met all my expectations and he emailed me a listing of a 2025 Forester RV that was being built and would come in about a month. This RV had everything I was looking for!! We negotiated a good price and I had begun waiting. Don was incredibly helpful throughout, texting and calling me when he received updates from the manufacturer (I give him a lot of credit because I know I wasn’t the most patient person as I was incredibly excited for my new RV!!).

I hadn’t seen the Forester in person and another Alpin Haus showed it carried the 2024 version of this RV (they did not). At first Paul was pleasant, then turned into this pressuring, lying, guilt tripping salesman that we alllll hear the horror stories about. Needless to say, I left and began working with Don again.

RV day: Don linked me with Jim, the financial specialist who was also incredibly helpful and was able to get me a wonderful loan with a low APR! I was introduced to John, who was incredibly nice and his excitement about the RV flowed off him! John walked me around and showed me where everything was, how to operate things, tips and tricks etc. I wrote a lot of things down in my phones notes app, video recorded certain tasks, and took pictures and labeled things as he was talking. John, like Don, was incredibly patient with me. Before I left, Don came in to check in on me, see how I was doing, and sent me off. He said to contact him if question and concerns come up and he’d like an update when I take it out. Of course I did have a few questions days later and he texted me answering all of them.

If you’re in the market for an RV, I HIGHLY recommend DON. As you’ve read, he has been such a wonderful, helpful person throughout this usually stressful process. Thank you Don, Jim, John and Alpin Haus for all your help in helping me achieve my dream!!

After an EF3 tornado totaled our trailer that we originally purchased from Alpin Haus it was a no brainer to go back to them for an upgrade and replacement. Mike P. and the whole crew there are exceptional and we have never been disappointed with their sales and service departments. They are always friendly, accommodating and reasonable. I Bought a Grech Strada ion from Dave the salesman. Great people to deal with , Keith the financial guy, Taylor from service. Were all great , I had another Van that needed an inspection from NY no problem getting it done . I’ll let them do all warranty work on that on too .

Called Amsterdam service department after light issue in the bathroom. Scheduling was easy, friendly, and tech arrived when expected. Our tech Chris was one of most friendly and knowledgeable I’ve seen in a while. Since this was intermittent issue, it made finding problem tougher, but he found issue, and corrected. He also took care of some questions I had, and took care of any other concerns I had. Efficient, Responsive, and Knowledgeable, all big plus’s. Highly recommend!
